Glad to know your using 15" rims and they fit. I guess I better load up on dremmel grinding stones and start now
What brake setup are you using? It would be nice to have a working setup with front and rear disc that actually work for once.

i'm using gm 3/4 ton cal(8 lug), mid 80's vette mc....the rock stomper kit would prolly be easier and chea[er.....the vette mc is made for 4w disc ....i'll let you know how it works
4.5"angle grinder with the coursest wheel you can find and some ear plugs....7' grinder would be better

i've got to say plumbing an entire system from scratch is a BIG pain ...i'm sure next time will be easier after all was said and done the front are blead and work good the rear is leaking at the master. the mc is metric i found adapt for the small size two front brake ports however the rear single port is a 12mm #1 thread and an adpt was impossible to find here so a tube shop made me a custom line for it ......they put in a reg dbl flare brake line and needs to be what i would call a tapered pipe fitting.....now i'm on the lookout for this adpt...12mm#1 male 3/16 fmale

anyway it leaks at the arrow

Glen might want to put a spring on each flex line and pin them next to the frame if not your tires will grab them and yank them off

Glen, 1/8 in at rotor & 1/4 if you are measuring at the tread. A 1/4 at rotor is a little much IMO.
Looks good.

I try and set toe in to about 1/8" at the tread. This has given me no issues thus far. Granted I still have a cruiser axle, but I don't see how a Dana 60 needs more toe in.

Glen,

Isn't it going to be kinda hard to undo the u-bolt plates, with the brake line tabs welded to them?

Not that you would ever need to replace a center pin, but...

yah bill, i thought about that but i figured i would get away with it for now ......i will prolly move them to the axle tube someday ..... i wanted to leave the axle tube clean until shocks and trac bar are located.... the flexible ss lines ought to make it ok for now .....and no i don't plan on changing ant center pins right away unless i'm wheelin with you of course

i plan on putting the springs on next ken , i just ran out of time .......

i guess i'll move it to 8th inch toe ....unless someone can splain why i shouldn't

i'll be working on it a little thurs. i'm getting the d300 together for now , and getting caught up on other stuff. i'll post up then.

one development however......i've come to the painful conclusion that to finish it as soon as i want i'm going to have to dump the 4:1 ........ i'm still going to try and do the hd outputs. unless someone wants to donate about $600

i still have fr n rr driveshafts to get and they won't be cheap......

the 4:1 will have to happen some other time....300's are pretty easy to pull when the time comes

The 4:1 would be nice, but with that 1st gear on the 465, it should be plenty low enouh to get you by untill the 4:1 comes right?

well i finally made it back up to GV and spent a day on the 40...nice and warm

didn't do a whole lot worth taking pics of but i know i like looking at peoples stupid pics as much as therir good ones

i picked up the adpt for the 12mm x 1 :3/16th....by looking at it you can see how the diff between them would cause the leak.
on the left is the custom 12mm fitting the right is the adpt.....the port in the master is a oppo image of the tip of the adpt.

obvious now why it was leaking
