I'm pretty sure he's talking about one that can be welded to the front of a front toyota differential...not a "weld it together yourself" kit for your normal cover. Meaning, one of your covers without bolt holes that can be welded in place of the puny front dome on a 9.5" Toyota differential. Correct me if I'm wrong, Don.

I think I pulled a dumb ass moment and asked if I needed to order one of your covers for the front axle the last time I was there...

^^

In regards to the rear covers? I totally get you and 100% agree! your covers are one of the VERY FEW that actually sit flat and I TOOOTALLY appreciate that!

I was referring to a version without flange and bolt sleeves that the buyer can weld to his front axle housing (after cutting off stock hat).

the unit would be completely welded together, just need to be welded to the front axle housing.

Okay I'm smelling what you're stepping in now. It's not a bad idea, we've made the 8" weld on skid plates, or Maxi-Pads as we affectionately call them around the shop. A few folks have used a sledge to hammer them out to fit on the 9.5" front dome, and it does work, but requires a fair amount of elbow grease.

I'll see if one of my guys here can find a little spare time to come up with something for that. Thanks for the suggestion!

When are we getting a pinion guard for the Land Cruiser 9.5" axle?!

Actually we have a skid plate design in the works that ties into the lower 3rd member bolts and then ties into the pinion guard for the Ford 9" , and something along those lines for Toyotas, both 8" and 9.5" shouldn't be too far behind.

One of the very few parts that has never bent, broke, or replaced on the 4619. Flat been through hell.
