no changes to the plans but i will have to back and redo a lot of the work. got completely overwhelmed trying to figure out how to build this truck. thats why i outsourced it in the first place. i know the basics of getting an engine to run so i'm going to start with that first.

There are a few very reputable shops out that way that can and will do the work well. If this is totally overwhelming, it may be a good option.

making some progress. cut out the harness that was semi attached to the engine so i can get my painless wired up.

and holy moly thats a lot of wires! :cry2: :cry2: :cry2: :cry2:

welded in a plate to mount the 12volt hydo for the rear stear.

and if you know about the checkered history of the build this might surprise you. i keep finding major frame welds that were unfinished so i'm having to go back and reweld many of the joints on the frame. :bang: :bang: :bang: :deadhorse:

first time in 5 years she's stood on her on 4 feet. got some rollers mounted up and put on. did the hard part of installing the rear steer just need to hook it up and running the wires and hoses and such which is next on the list.

years ago mine and other projects got rather screwed over by a local builder. add some real life tragedy in my own life this project has basically just sat around for several years. getting back at it this days i remembered the builder decided he wanted his tag imbedded into my frame.

ripping this out had a very therapeutic affect on me.

been short on time for the buggy but i'm still on it. got hoses made and hooked up tonight.
its a 12v pump going into a relief valve and then into the axle ram.

got to fab up a plate for the valve sit on next. i did buy me a new fancy welding hood. my daughter seems to like it too.

not sure i feel safe with the hoses here. might have to run them on the left side of the pump

Kind of a left field question. What caster is built into rear axle?

I dig this one a lot. I'm trying for something similar except as a four seat full body rig and no rear steer.
