This is probably my favorite 3rd gen Runner build thread,



What steering/front link setup are you running now?

Last build pics it looks like tri 4 link w/ DE ram, then the latest pics look like a tie rod/draglink?

I went back to 3 link w/ hydro assist because I did an entire year of no trailer wheeling trips. It drove ok with full hydro but much better with a steering box when doing 700 mile round trips down the highway.

I can switch back and forth, all the full hydro mounts and upper link brackets are still there.

Cool, is there somewhere you have pics of that setup? What steering box etc?

I do have pics but I'll need to dig them up. The 2nd assist setup is slightly different due to working around the Artec full hydro mount.

Basic IFS Toyota boxed tapped for assist is what I used.
