Awesome build. I realize how far away I am from my SAS. Lots of learning to do about suspension.

Very nice build Bob...... seems like alot of work and effort to have all the goodies to support a V8 without the actual engine?

I'll have to grab some pics -
This is what he has done so far -
14 bolt front housing is built and shaved.
Shaved the rear 14 bolt.
Boatsides done
Got the altas in and floors done
Added a quick disconnect steering wheel and a flip switch push button start
- Rewired it add some new switches
Put skins on it.
Alum. for the front links should be here today - 2.5" lowers will take him a while to f- those up.

That's a product called Delrin.
It is machinable, damn near indestructible and works great for hard mounting motors/trannys/t-cases, etc...

It will hold up very well on the rocks.

I have used it on sliders, boat tubs, motor mounts, transmission mounts and belly pans. I've made door hinges out of it and a ton of other stuff.
It is also very slick and doesn't hang up like steel and aluminum do.

One of my favorite plastic products hands down!!!

If you got it for free, You scored!!! It's not cheap.

Yea I'm not sure if it is Delrin or UHMW, I did find out it's what they use as rest room dividers.
