The master is from napa it's a M2533 for 83-86 K30 one ton truck.

Edit : also. it's a 85 runner and the brake booster is stock, but I have the om617 5 cylinder mercedes motor, I have thought about the t100 booster but they are like 300 bucks

Maybe the vacuum pump is weak on the engine?

There is also a chance your master is too big. You have half ton brakes and a 1 ton master..... I run the same calipers on my front with just an FJ80 master.

Thanks for helping on this.
Hmm, that could be, not sure how much vacuum the pump is pulling, diesels don't pull a vacuum so they have a cam driven external pump, I just guessed it was working. I'm going to see if after a moment of engine run time, if theres residual vacuum when I pull the line, I have a vacuum actuated solenoid that pulls the diaphragm in the fuel pump to shut the motor down, and it is working correctly, but it requires little vacuum. The mercedes cars ran everything off of vacuum so the pumps are pretty strong normally.
Fj80 master ? Any adaption needed you think to get it to fit the stock 85 booster ?

Bolts right on. I would make sure everything is working properly before trying a new master, there is also 3/4 and half ton masters that should mount the same as the 1 ton.

High jack over

Front 60 cover has seen better days. This blue torch fab DIY cover I TIG’d back when I built the axles has been worn down by my inability to avoid rocks. Hardware gets ground down every run, and leaks.
Got an old OX cover off eBay (apparently they’re still a company) had to clearance the top for the tie rod, and of course needed the pipe plug again.
Sealed up with “the right stuff” again, and hope for the best!

Thanks man, I read that too, those puppies are like $300 bucks though. I'm gonna search junk yards again, as they didn't have any a couple weeks ago. The junk yards out here in Reno are toyota specific they pull the part for u.

Certainly hope so. Gotta be a reason why Crane went with that design. OX was just a bit cheaper.

Florence knocked us around a bit, but the week before, my twin boy and girl were born prematurely, and only got to live a few hours. While trying to deal with that, Florence hit. house and shop faired ok, the wife and I loaded up and tools off west to hide out and see some old friends in the Knoxville, TN area. We lived in Tortoise and loaded up Bones inside. September was a rough month, ready for 2018 to be over honestly.

Tennessee was a good break from reality. We were about 30 min from windrock, hoping to wheel there someday soon. Made the most of our time there by working out and paying our rent by dragging driftwood out of the Tennessee river for the locals.

Your family has been in our hearts and minds over the last couple months.

I don't know if there is anything really to say.

on a totally unrelated note, what is going on with the steering dana 80 thingamabob that you were showcasing on book of face? bringing another build thread over this-a-way?

Thanks Brother that means a lot.

Yeah Iím building a buggy. 4seater Tube chassis, LQ4/4L80E/Atlas 05+SD 60 front, offset SD D80 rear steer. The front clip I have for it is off an Ď89 S10 Blazer, so Iím not really sure where Iím going to put its thread yet.

Sorry the hear about your children. As a father of 2, i cannot imagine the pain of that. Are you planning on doing a thread for the buggy? I love the high end build, but love your thread for the average joe tech that makes me feel like I can build something similar.

Medics are In the army and Air Force. Navy has Corpsman, and they work for the Marines.

Thankyou.

I suppose I will make a thread for it, I appreciate the encouragement. Seeing these KOH rigs get thrown together in a matter of weeks is intimidating for sure. This buggyís a schlow buildas Iím not using parts from Bones to make it happen.
