JP Eater Dual Case Question

Are these adaptors decent? I am looking at a truck that has one, but the design is older etc. Any concerns with bearing strength or reliability long term? I can't find much online etc. and I am wondering about parts availability and compatibility etc. with more modern gears / parts that are offered today.

Thank you for your help.

I haven't talked to jack in around a year and a half. I need to stop by his house one of these weekends.
