Best shock setup for 63s
Im currently running RUFs and 63s on my rig with the basic 14" 5100s ran through the bed pretty close to vertical, no overload or blocks and a slip/twist traction bar. truck sits pretty low , ride is real stable and it flexes quite well.
Im happy with the the setup when I am crawling, but going from trail to trail at speeds its real stiff in the rear. I know theres only so much leaf springs will do, but before i mounted the shocks the springs felt real soft. Would better shocks drastically improve the ride of the 63s? If so what brand and shock would you recommend?

Shocks are only as good as who tunes them. The best shock will suck if tuned poorly. Call Ryan at Accutune.

Bilstein shocks are too stiff on rebound and too light on compression. Custom tuned fox 2.0 remote reservoir smoothies are your best bet. We've done tons of Toyota from street to pre-run. Everything is custom to your rig and your terrain and includes tons of support to make sure you get the most from your shocks.
