I think you could find a stock 40 series rear housing for much less. It would be strong enough for a zuk. Trying to build an offset 8" third for the rear is not going to be as cheap, easy or as strong. I think if you are trying run chromoly axles in either one 1500.00 is a bit shy by the time you take it all into account. If you look around for used stuff and have a bit of time you might get lucky though.

Idk if it will help you, but I have a set hy steer arms i would sell for $100. Looks like it would save you quite a bit, let me know and Iíll get you some pics. Iím located in Tracy.
