I can't remember the user name, I though it was Fntoy but I can't find it. He built a 609 front & linked it. Later on he put a 6.0 ls in it.

on a side note i saw that there's thread filters you can play with to find all the old good builds.

bottom left sort by thread rating and then from THE BEGINNING and it'll filter out all the bullsh!t

Here is his 2018 Race Recap and what it looks like today:

Finally...Race recap: We qualified ok with a 38th position, so our starting position was pretty decent in the mixed 4800/4500 classes of 110 or so cars. We were off the the line and pinning it when the car next to us rolled. Honestly made me feel like our strategy was that much better: stay calm, have fun, be smooth. We started passing cars left and right and the 12+ hours that Andrew and Ryan and I put in while tuning became worth it. Everything felt solid and fast. According to my family we moved up 20+ positions to 17th for some time. However, that pace had its toll and we cracked ALL 4 dual rate sliders, blew out a dual durometer bushing, and effectively blew out the rear shocks. We got most of that sorted at Main Pit but that took some serious time.

Lap 2 got us into the rocks. We were having a great time and picked smart lines. We hit traffic on Wrecking Ball and waited for some time while rigs got moving again. Made some fun passes and said hi to the Winch Mob! Eventually got stuck in more traffic on Jack North. The bypass was steep and loose and the main line was just hard. When we got our chance, we one-shotted the main line and made 4 passes. We were riding high and thought we had plenty of time. Our day started to dissolve on Sunbonnet where the fuel pickup tray came undone and ripped wires to Pump 1. We fixed it and started moving again, but we were running closer and closer to the cut off time. We had a good Pit stop, but by the time we got into Outer Limits, it was clear my talent tank was depleted and we weren't going to make it. Once we cleared the trail after lots of stupid mistakes, we threw in the towel. We made it 116 of the 129 mile course. Super bummed, but only 12 people in 3 classes finished.

All in all, we had a great day, but it was hard. 2.5s are officially not enough shock for this race. The pace I want to run has outgrown Piggy. I will be looking to build something new. Back to the drawing board...

Stoked to have mixed it up with tons of awesome racers. Thanks to my sponsors and teammates. We'll be back.
