It's going to be interesting to see how the new section of trail looks after all the snow melt and run off. I imagine some of those holes are going to be pretty big and the boulders will have moved quite a bit.

So are 7n09, 7n23 and Corral Hollow (17EV485) open to snow wheeling? The letter lists them as open to wheeled over snow vehicles, but the motor vehicle use map says:

"Open to Wheeled ATV's When Snow Depth Exceeds 12 inches"

What do they define as a ATV? A quad, a jeep, ....

After the trail was reopened we now have to wait 6 weeks after the snow is melted. Snow depths can be found here:

Still showing 25 inches of snow but melting fast.

Theres just patches of snow under trees at SnoPark loading area.....as of 2 weeks ago. I didnt go towards Utica, Union..

Went to go to Corral Hollow but 7N09 closed...figured just snow wheel in Tammarck side....massive 7-8ft drifts still
Had a rig not capable ..and one ready to do it. But turned around....

I doubt Deer Valley will be open till 1st week August

Im gonna go up to Hope Valley and Blue Lakes to check it out this week...

Slick Rock should be open now, but don't come in from Alpine side, there are some gnarly off camber snow drifts between the trees. The bypass section still has snow and big boulders

I ran it today (Saturday) from Utica to Alpine. Trail is in good shape until you get to Alpine side, then itís muddy with a few snow patches. The snow was gone on the hill (see my previous picture). That hill is probably the hardest obstacle on the trail. The trail can now be run in either direction, with the Alpine to Utica being the easier option.
