I'd be down for that as well. No FB, but if someone updates this thread with a date/time I'll make the trip down there.

Agreed. It's hot as balls right now. Mid/late Oct and the wheeling season will pick up. Not sure about the rest of you, but we're only about 40 minutes away. I've actually got a jolly roger we can setup in one of the areas to denote the meetup area.

Might be worth it to make the Fall Run at Barnwell the end of October and then plan this middle to end of November.

Why the fuck would you advertise this on FB? It’s a “pirate 4x4” meetup, not a homo FB meetup.

Been there a few times. November would be cooler weather. Most trails are fairly easy, but you can usually hit harder/easier lines depending on what you want. Trail conditions change often depending on how recently it's been raining.

Been a few years since Ive wheeled Hidden Falls. It used to be my most favorite park in TX.

SUPPOSEDLY though they knocked down all the real trails so people could make them up in their mall crawler JK's.

I haven't been out there though so I cannot say for certain how it looks these days.

I too forget Pirate exists and am usually on FB the most.

Jeff, they didn't knock down all the real trails. I just had two buddies out there in fully built buggies on 42s and there were trails they either couldn't do (Stonehenge) or had a tough time with. There's definitely still some fun stuff out there. All the easy trails are always packed with mallcrawlers, but the real trails like East/West, Snoopy, Carnage Canyon, etc are usually always empty.

don't you want to meet the legend? legendary smart ass..

don't worry, I may be the biggest chicano you'll ever meet.. but I don't plan on hurting anyone, at least not when I'm holding my Sony..

I don't understand for sure, why some people make comments about whether I'm gonna be there or not.. it's not like I'm still as muscular as I used to be.. I'm a gentle giant now...

the panzies afraid of a little Texas pinstriping might fear me, cuz I'll get the evidence on video and everyone will know... LOL..

Unfortunately I am out. I have to fly to Norway for work, and honestly every weekend after that will either be a holiday or working on the 4600 to get it ready for KOH.
