Where? Wow, I’ve never heard of it. I wish there was more info on this place so I could take my Jeep and invite my Jeep bros.

Never been but going over new years. It seems like the place to go for all the mall crawler JKs.

I have a bunch of videos that are about 10 years old.. from there.. from the first weekend they were open.. youtube channel "Arti54N"

I would go there off and on through the years.. usually riding ATVs..

they started banning a lot of people (not me) through the years.. some of those people Ive been offroadin with since the early 90s.. Ive heard lots of stories from both sides.. I could be talked into going there again.. but I havent been there in a few years

I been there a bunch of times on dirt bikes. Great park, well laid out, and a ton of fun. They have some pretty narly stuff for trucks, as well as a lot of stuff you could get through with good tires and 4x4. you can look at some of the vids on my youtube channel MaksWerks.

Yep, they have another for sale sign for the property out front right now. Been there every weekend for the last 2 months. It's a blast, $25 per driver, $15 per passenger, under 17yr old only $5. We get there in the morning and leave at closing time. Great park for stock to wild rigs. You see all kinds of bad a$$ stuff out there. Def. worth the trip if you don't have to travel to far. Mostly climbing and regular 4x4 trails, creeks, etc.. During the rainy season though plenty of mud holes to play or SINK in!!

HF is not for sale, the sign is for an adjacent property to the park. Agreed on the park rangers, but they're a necessary evil to keep speeds down on main roads and keep some semblance of safety for everyone. Don't ask them for directions to specific routes though, I've been given the wrong directions multiple times over the years. I've been going there for the last decade and still love going. The routes have changed a lot with all of the recent rainfall to where alot of the harder stuff is really challenging with 37s and pretty doable with 40s. There's stuff scattered around the park that is extremely difficult to impossible, and there's alot of stuff that bone stock jeeps and toyotas can manage. The campgrounds have also come a very long way.

Hot rodding? You need to look up the definition for that.

I'll be moving to san antonio here in about a month and will likely be checking this place out. I'll have to find close by people to drag along when I make it up that way. How high is the risk of body damage on some of the harder trails ?

Its a good time. Weve ran a lot of the trails in our JKUR on 35 MTRs without much body damage (unless you count the factory fender flares). The wheels and underside show a different story though.

if you do the typical JK trails, pretty much zero chance of body damage. some of the harder stuff like FM TRO, Carnage Canyon, etc on the hard lines you better have some rocker protection at the least. I've been wheeling my lil' 94 XJ on 37s all over that park for the last two years and have gotten some body damage sliding off a line into rocks but I could care less if it gets a couple dents or scratches. The really nice thing about that park is that on most of the trails there's easy lines, hard lines and almost impossible lines but most of the haters only try the easy lines in their buggies on 40s+ and think the park is too boring until I point out there's way harder lines if they just scootch over 15-20 feet to the right/left. it's definitely not the hardcore technical rock crawling that Wolf Caves or K2 is, but the camping amenities and overall camping experience is wayyyyy better, especially if you have kids.

Had some fun out there yesterday. First time I've taken the blazer out there. It's got way more ability than I have skills. Wet and Wild was interesting in it. I've got lots of video but cant post it yet. These are the only pictures I have.
