Norfolk, VA

Just moved here from San Diego, CA. In an apartment downtown and not allowed to wrench in the parking lot. Have a mig welder (Millermatic 210), plasma cutter, and IR air compressor all sitting in storage and no where to use them Just wondering who else is around.

I’m near the Norfolk airport. I am constantly working in my garage. Currently trying to undress some SD axles. That plasma cutter sure would be nice!

Whoops, stopped paying attention to this thread. Well, if you're still grinding/cutting/etc on those axles PM me and I'll snatch up my plasma cutter (and air compressor if needed) from storage and swing by. –Charles

What he said, or at least into off road fab stuff. The further south you guy near hear, the more mud and less rock rig stuff you see.

Be careful in Norfolk, locals tend to like to take anything thats not chained down.

I've got a 1978 F150 Regular Cab Shortbed - 4x4, 351M, C6. Previous owner cobbled together some leaf-spring packs and threw some coils in to give it a small lift with 31's. Open diffs.

I live right on the edge of downtown and have already heard about a few break-ins.. not too thrilled about that.

Got it to pass state inspection and have been driving it a bit but need to rent some space at Rent-a-lift and do a tune-up, install new Warn hubs, and replace the rear yoke. After that, lift, 35's, and probably a mini-spool.

Just moved here back in aug. I work for cox and I'm pretty sure I've done an install at your complex back in late october.

Also, not trying to hijack the thread but also dont want to start a new one for a simple question. Yall know anyone that can weld up beadlock rings to steel wheels?

If this place is still up I’m here. Live on the Norfolk va beach line in the diamond springs corridor. Currently working or finishing a square body resto. Drive a 2015 ram diesel g56. All I do is work my dogs, work on my truck, do projects and hunt/fish.
