Staying in Estes Park, CO: where to go wheeling?

The wife and I are staying the weekend in Estes Park 3/29-3/31. I rented us a Jeep to go wheeling all day Saturday. Any trail recommendations? I'm not looking for anything extreme, but I like difficult..

Also, looking for other recommendations, food, things to do, etc.

You're not going to find any wheeling near the park. You probably need to go to Montrose, Fruita, Moab until August this year. The snow is way too deep.

Depends on your idea of "extreme" / "close" - Our club wheels that general area and there are a few trails open yet. Between Allenspark and Ward are a few trails, "Bunce School Road" and "Switzerland Trail", that a rental Jeep won't have any trouble with (depending on the snowpack).

That said, while you're in Estes make sure to hit up Rock Cut Brewing for (what I think is) the best craft beer in town. And spend the $25 for a day pass to wander around the national park. It amazes me how many people pass on that while they are in the area...
