2005 Hemi Jeep Unlimited LJ Wrangler

2005 Hemi Jeep Unlimited LJ Wrangler
This is a fast Hemi powered Jeep wrangler that was built to be a daily driver and hard core four wheeler. This Jeep has done the Rubicon and Fore Dyce trails as well as Dumont Dunes and Pismo, however has spent the majority of the time driving the kids to school and getting groceries. It was a complete frame up rebuild. Three years ago, I started with a new frame, 5.7 Hemi and an Unlimited LJ tub.

Front Axle:
Custom built Dana44 housing
ARB air locker & 4.56 gears
Warn chromoly inner and outer axle shafts w/ Spicer U-joints
Warn 5 on 5.5 hub conversion kit
Tera Flex High steer knuckle & heavy duty tie rods and drag link w/ ¾ ton tie rods
Rear Axle:
TJ rear Dana44
ARB air locker & 4.56 gears
Fabtech axle truss
G2 chromoly axle shafts
Motor & Drivetrain:
2005 Truck 5.7 Hemi V8 - 345 hp and 398 lb•ft
HotwireAuto - Fuel Injected Wiring Harnesses wire harness (works all factory gauges)
Onboard York Air Compressor
Factory A/C
Aluminum Radiator
6speed manual transmission
Rubicon 241OR 4:1 transfercase
Suspension:
Long Arm Lift kit – Rubicon Express lower Arms / Fabtech Upper wishbone 3Link
4.5” Rubicon Express springs
Walker Evans adjustable shocks with remote reservoir
Off-Road-Only Dual Rate front sway-bar
GenRight heavy duty front track arm
Body:
GenRight Aluminum Front Fenders
GenRight Aluminum Rear Flares
Custom Aluminum Rocker Guards
Pro Comp Bumpers
Interior:
GenRight LJ Full Roll Cage
Color Coordinated (orange) bed liner
Factory hard top

The Hemi and 6 speed make it a very fun Jeep to Drive. Everything works, always runs cool. Very comfortable to drive, my wife just drove it 350 mile home no problem. It is registered with a salvage title, but you can see in the pictures that I started with a good frame and body. The Jeep gets compliments everywhere it goes, however it does have a few minor nicks and scratches. Check your state smog laws. I built this Jeep with all of the original smog equipment out of the Hemi Truck and runs clean at the exhaust, but California is being difficult about the manual transmission, so I would prefer to sell it out of California.
The Jeep is located in Grass Valley. Asking $25,000. Will only consider trading for a low mileage crew cab Diesel, other than that just cash.

Sean - There objection it that a 1/2 ton Truck never came with a Hemi/manual combo. Three years ago before I started, all the Hemi swap experts claimed it would be okay, because the Hemi/Manual came in a 3/4 ton truck. It needs to be 1/2 ton.

Good news. I found that they did make a hemi 1500 with a manual.

So It should be able to be smogged in CA.

To bad that's a 4.7. The number 8th in vin being a N= a 4.7. There was never a hemi manual 1500 ever built. You had to get a 2500 to get a 6 speed manual. I have a hemi in my jeep with a 6 speed that came behind the 4.7

Yea, I just realized that right after I posted. I think that you are right. Someone outside of California needs to buy it. Makes me sad
