If this doesn't sell soon, Becca should go spank some werock events!

I've been wondering about doing that...it's race-prepped and ready.

Given that this thread is nearly 2 years old, I can think of a few reasons.

1) Single speed TC not best for trail use
2) Cab is too small for a lot of guys
3) U4/Dirt Riot more popular than rock events
4) Price

1. I love the single speed tcase for trail riding
2.I have no idea
3./4. Trail riding/ crawling is way cheaper!
Looks like a great rig

1. For short trails it is bitchen, for running the rubicon, it is not. Still, it is not ideal for trails and was not intended to be. This is a competition vehicle first, play toy second. That is an obvious limitation. I have thought about tearing out the Lovell and installing an Atlas but that would hurt the competition performance. You could get some good money for that Lovell and offset the price of a new Atlas, but again, for me, I want to see this rig continue in competition.
2. Remember, the heights I am quoting are for high risk competition crawling with double the recommended clearance above a helmet. This is FAR more room than most buggies would have.
3. Agreed...for right now anyway. Still, a few people are building rockcrawlers as well as buying them. Plus, with crawling starting on a comeback now that people are realizing just how expensive and tiring speed is, we should be seeing the balance change a bit.
4. $27k is high for what is inside and the quality of this rig? When Bender and Dan DuBose built it, they said he would't do another like it for less than $100k.

But obviously, and I am not blind to this...for all of the reasons you have stated, it just hasn't seemed to be a fit for anyone yet. Whoever does end up getting it will get an amazing crawler for a smokin price.

You can fit in it but your head will be right there against the roof. A small bit of tubework and you can be 7' tall with plenty of headroom. Roofs and seat mounts are easy to modify.

Becca should spank Rich's 6 waterfall trail in this. Make the boys look stupid again.

We are thinking about it but will most likely bring the KOH TJ or our motorcycles.

That would be fun to be on that trip and the RockHer is pretty badass in the twisty canyons compared to most non-rear-steer rigs. However, it has a shorter wheelbase than most of those climbs are really needing. Those waterfalls are damn big!

W.E.Rock 2016 is upon us and this crawler will still be right at the top when it comes to competitiveness....and that price is for a competition rig that would be its equal.

I have other places to spend $27K right now, but if I was in the position to pull the trigger to build my rig how I want I'd buy this instead and just change the T-Case.

I would feel bad about a dedicated comp rig no longer competing, but the smile on my face from owning every obstacle on the trail would make up for it.

GLWS. It is insane that people are spending double or triple to build rigs when they can have this thing.
