How do you figure a truck sold in AK wouldn't have emmissions stuff? My 97 F450 7.3L has a catalytic convertor.

There is a OEM sticker under the hood that says non-catalyst ... That's how I'd figure ...

I'm not saying your truck has one, just that it has nothing to do with it coming from AK.
Dunno why my F450 had one.

In general the early super duty that came with a manual had a cat and the ones with an auto did not.

Yep great deal. I'm trying really hard not to make you an offer as I want that truck a lot more then I actually need it.

If it were close I'd come for a test drive. My 02 F350 just wrecked.

For sure , wasn't trying to be a dick . I meant to write the add as it was originally sold in Alaska ....... And also it's a non-cat truck . Most 99.5+ superdutys that came with the auto trans did not have a cat from my research . But most manuals did and since was converted to manual trans it still doesn't need one .

Bump

Bump
FWIW- I also have a 99.5 F350, Lariat, 4X4, CCLB, 7.3L, ZF6 truck. It was a CA truck and was a factory ZF6. It has a large sticker that states CA NON-CATALYST VEHICLE, under the hood. It also never had a cat on it. Taken through annual emissions inspections, due to the commercial plate. Don't think any of the 99.5's had cats, auto or not, if my CA sold truck didn't.

GLWS and happy to see what a one of these might bring.
