I am thinking about a new trail rig and want to run 1/4 eliptic and coils in front. The early bronco's seem like the ideal canidate, but I want to know if anyone has done this. I just want to know if there are any huge problems to overcome with going to 1/4 eliptic on an EB.

Shouldn't be any different than design features on a jeep or other small truck. It's all gonna be custom work so if you can do it, you should be able to adapt it to any application. The guys on the General 4x4 discussion board will be able to tell you more.

The bronco frame is really narrow, if you mount the leafs directly under the frame with quarter eliptic it will articulate like mad, There is also room to fit the same coils that are run up front in the rear. Bronco coils are cheap and there are a bunch of rates and heights available. Chuch at BC broncos has the best selection and if you want to switch to a taller or stiffer coil he will let you exchange them. They are awesome coils.
