mine are frenched into the bottom of the frame(flush) and give what is normally about a 4-5 inch normal leaf sprung lift on a toyota, my rear shackles are about 5" long and i have them mounted off the rear of the housing near 9-10 oclock(crossection)....i used the 4 leafs(no overload)for now, i need to wheel it to see how the spring rates match up front and rear...
