1993 1 ton dually:
Adjusting the rear brakes last night, went too far on one side, and now that wheel's too tight. I can't seem to get the star wheel to move in the "looser direction," what's the trick to releasing it? Shop manual says "stick a small straight blade screwdriver in there to release the locking bar," but either there's a trick to it, or I'm stupid, cause I can't seem to make it work. Help please!

Thanks, Alan

Yes its tough to get the blade in there but it can be done. Use a thin screw driver or maybe something with a slight bend to it.

On my Dana 60 its below. You must push the lever out a little and then spin the adjuster.
