Im only using 14b hubs on a custom 9" axle. Ive got to get custom shafts anyway and I can get double splined shafts much easier than custom length and splined shafts with a 14b ff flange on the end.

It would be much easier if the bolt circle on the flange were the same as dana axles, but its not, so it limits my options.

they are out there, there is a guy in the chevy section that has 300m double splines with a external hub style flange like you would find on a 3/4t d44 or dodge d60.

i think bobby long or ctm jack made them for him.

use dana 70 hubs on the rear then...they will fit on 14 bolt spindles.

I should have thought of that! I think the hubs I have are actually D70 hubs, but theyre GM D70 hubs. They came off a giant late 70s GM RV and i pulled the shafts at the same time and still have 1 of them. Big ol 35spl. But the bolt circle on the flange is the same as a 14b.

I didnt think about switching to another make D70 hub. Did ford or dodge make a SRW D70? My axle was built for SRW hubs, so I cant switch to DRW. That would allow me to get an off the shelf 35spline shaft later when I change out my diff from the 31 I have to run temporarily. Sucks though, I just finished rebuilding the hubs and installing the rotors. Oh well, guess I get to buy some new bearing races and seals. Assuming I can find the right hub.
