Hello team,
I bought a 1946 1.5 Ton GMC recently. I need help locating some parts:
a) Brake master cylinder: Is it easy to rebuild the existing one or just buy a new one?
b) Fuel tank, I want a round aluminum style (not inside the cab)…do you know where I get those around SFO Bay Area? I did a few rounds to a local junk yard but they only have cars and light duty trucks. I was not able to locate a single truck (semi and straight truck) yard in 100 miles radius.
Any recommendation on where to buy new parts (online-sites?)?

I'm almost 100percent that's the style master cylinder I used with my hydraulic throw out bearing for my clutch in my 85 truggy ( post a pic). If so they are very simple to rebuild (two o-rings ). Refurbished from napa was like 50 bucks

I'd watch it. I vote for a rolling project built off of Craigslist finds and built in the dirt for the dirt. :smokin:
