I've been lurking here for so many years that I forgot that I was building a Jeep!
All mail order bolt on parts and a little engine from a Yugo or something. This is going to rule the Mall
Getting started on a real Jeep is my next priority!
I've been using the forum for a lot of guidance and how not too's and technical expertise.

Can’t wait to see this thing come alive. I’m working on a 75 CJ5 as well

The rear Driveshaft worries me the most, Its less than a foot :-( I had to redo the engine mount and transmission mount a couple of times to get the angle to an acceptable level.
I wouldnt mind doing a radical Willys next!

I have the same issue with the RDS. The angle is pretty steep. When it’s all back together to be driven I’ll take it to the local “Jeep guy” and have him check out the angles and figure out if we need to click the axles or not.

I put a twin stick in so I can limp home when the rear driveshaft breaks :)
There's other rear axle options with a higher pinion that will certainly help.
