I have a super clean 1983 2wd toyota pickup. I've done a SAS on my Tacoma. I'm just curious to get options, would I better off finding a 4x4 chassis an swapping the body. Or keeping the 2wd frame and building off that ? Just asking options.

Thanks.

No reason not to start with the 2wd if it is solid. Build plans?

No plans yet, I put way to much money in my Tacoma so I'm leaning toward a more economic build haha, that why I was curious about finding a good 4x4 chassis an swaping everything. 2wd body will fit on a 1st gen 4 x 4 chassis correct ? I know my Tacoma was a lot of long hours. I guess I'll have to weigh the options and the money I want to keep this truck more for a daily driver and work truck.

Ya build the 2wd. You already have it. If the frame is not rusted and the motor runs great go with it....pick up a front axle and a transfer case and your done....do and make a build thread.
