The plastic head lights on my truck are
shot dull faded just not clear anymore

so I want to buy new ones

or are ther any after market lenses for
these trucks ??

any ideas would be great thanks

Try to clean them first...I know I have seen some articals floating around on some Ford related web boards about cleaning them.

If I remember the story right, Ford put some sort of coating on the lenses to help keep them preserved or some BS like that. Over time, it breaks down and gives the cloudy look.

If I find that, I think I saved it somewhere, I'll post it....

1200 girt silicon carbide sandpaper or use a scotch brite pad very fine or ultra fine will take the yellow away. Or you can spend $$ for some new complete lenses. Check ebay, see them all the time on there.

I have a scotch brite pad and some compound
that I use on windshields to clean them
Ill try that first.

Blue Magic Plastic & Plexiglass Cleaner worked wonders for mine.

Its about $4 a bottle at chains like Pep Boys or Autozone.
