Ok I have my first real outing coming up with my (new to me) First gen Runner. I'd like detailed pics of others cargo areas, with creative ways of carrying recovery gear, spares, tools, Tire, etc.. there is a bunch of space compared to my old Jeeps but not all that much. Thanks and post up. AJ

No pics, but what I did was add about 10 tie down brackets I took from junkyard runners ( in rear of troopers as well) and added em to the cargo area on the roll bar (welded) back of front fold down seats (2), then on the front middle and rear wheelwell hump and two more at the very rear about 6 inches in from the stockers, and 2 more in the center of the cargo area.
I have all my spare stuff in a rubbermaid box thats about 3" long and latches to keep it closed. I also have 2 fold top crates (get em from HD,lowes, wmart,kmart) and use em for other junk. I have tons of rubber srtaps the I put over all the stuff and hook it to the extra ties downs I put in, it holds very very well.
