I got 2003 suburban 1500 and wanting to do a sas with a Dana 44 just wondering how much it would cost and what makes of axle would be good( Ford, dodge ect.). I am more of a weekend warrior so no extreme rock crawling but I want the option to have a locker for the front. I want to get a kit for a 4link so I can put coil overs in front.

Check some threads. I don't think there's a co kit for these trucks. There are plenty of others building these trucks too. I've got around 5k in mine so far, and still counting. Leaf springs could be cheaper, even co's could be cheaper than I have into mine. It's the little stuff that will nickel and dime you. My truck was in rough shape, so I had to replace a bunch of stuff. Good luck
