Here's the short end of it- i just put a 435/205 in my eb. Ive got two basically brand new CV driveshafts that were in the eb. Obviously, the yokes are different on the 205. Does anyone make some kind of yoke for a 205 that will run the dana spicer style cv? Im trying to get this thing together for cheap and really dont want to build two new driveshafts if i dont have to.

the 435/205 I swapped into my 75 bronco came out of a 78 bb and used the 1310 cv joints I guess I got lucky in the different bb I have had and checked out the 78 could be either 1310 or 1350 cv and all the 79 bb have been 1350 and all the trucks i have looked at are none cv. I did find that the cv yokes in the 78 bronco c6 203 used 1310 cvs also and interchange with the 205 yokes
hope this helps

1350 was never on the 78/79 broncos.

78 - 1310
79 - 1330

some late 78's could be 1330's but with these trucks being so old anything is possible. I sold two 1310 cv 250 yokes on ebay like a year ago. they were cheap.

Yea, the problem is the truck i got the case out of didnt have CV's so the case doesnt have a CV type yoke it has the strap types. Ive been having hell with the search here timing out. Anyhoo, looks like i need a set of 1310 cv style yokes. Thanks for the info guys. Im trying to poor-boy this thing together and i hated the idea of tossing two brand new CV's.

any of the 78 F series 4x4's with a 205 should have the 1310 front cv on them. definatly the 78 broncos will have front and rear. If I still had mine here I would sell them to you.

Did the tranfer case come from a pickup? EVERY 78-79 bronco i have seen has run CV style yokes. You shouldnt have much trouble finding the right yokes

The tranny/case came from a 78 longbed regular cab F150. No cv on the front either.

I live on the corner of Texas, AR, and Louisiana. There is no such thing as a 78/79 bronco in a junkyard here. The wrecked ones get painted camo, a set of buckshots, and deer stands welded into the bed. :p
