i am new to the whole yota so, here i go i have a 85 yota with a carberated 22r and i have noticed no smog pump i though all yotas had a pumpit was just smoged sop i guess it dosnt need to be there also the front rotors are trashed one is like a 1/8 inch thick were is the best place to buy yota parts like a kregan or auto zone thanks all. <IMG SRC="smilies/vader.gif" border="0">
You are lucky if you don't need the smog pump.
As far as the rotors...Toyota has non-vented front discs. These were born to warp, and are a crazy combination considering they also have a "four-piston, fixed caliper" design also found on Porsche automobiles.
Changing the rotors requires a shop press or a really big sledgehammer. It is do-able though. I have replaced the rotors on my truck and bought them from the Devil (AutoZone).
If you really want to cure the warped disc problem, you can install a set of vented-disc rotors from an early '80s Landcruiser. Use the search feature and/or visit the many internet sites that Toy fanatics have for the details.
