I have an 87 4Runner w/ a 22re. My problem is that i'm losing fuel pressure almost imediately after shutting off engine. When i start my truck in the morning it starts on the first turn of the engine and runs fine. After i drive it and shut it off i can wait 5min or a couple of hours, then crack open the bolt at the bango fitting on the cold start injector and i get no fuel spray. If i try to start it, it will turn over and fire on a couple of cylinders, die, turn over a few times, then start and run normal.
Fuel pump? Injectors? Cold start injector?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.....

when it does sart up after cranking does it run rough at first?if so i would say that your injecters are leaking.

u may have a fuelpump prob. i think there is a valve in the pump to keep fuel from draining back. u dont have a small leak in 1 of ur lines do ya?

You probably have a similar problem to my '85. Some sort of internal pressure leak and a bad circuit opening relay that is not turning on the fuel pump while starting. I just run with the fuel pump test jumper installed and it works prefect:

Maybe the pressure reg. stuck open?
