231 vacuum

I'm in the process of replacing my aw4 in my 89 cherokee. I've got the transfer case and tranny out. Can I plug my vacuum lines out of it (I have a posi lok) so I don't think they are doing anything are they???. I just want to get rid of this mess but don't want to screw things up. Suggestions on plugging these four holes? Screws and Silicone???

screws and silicone will work but really there is no need to. just find the port that goes to the engine and block the port off at the engine. then remove the rest of the crap. the switch can be left as is, no real reason to plug it.

since you have a posi lock your 4wd light still works. however when i switched to tj axle shafts, i got the switch from a TJ 231 and hooked my light to that. no real reason just wanted the light to work again. kinda poserish yeah.

what if you do not plulg it at all? Blake, how did u do the TJ 231 setup? I kinda miss knowing the 4 lo is engaged, got rticky with the 2 low shifter in as well on the 231.
