I have got a 2lt 84 diesel that I am trying to get running I have gotten the motor to spin over so far it was frozen up from sitting. It appears that the previous owner has removed some stuff from the pass side motor such as a fuel filter etc. .My question is does the injector pump pull the fuel from the tank or is there an electric pump inside the tank or one that was mounted to the pass side to deliver fuel to the injector pump.

also do all the toyota injector pumps interchange such as a 82 2l would it fit on an 842lt etc.:D :D

There is no fuel pump, just the injection pump. Those pumps should interchange OK.

If the motor was frozen I would pull it apart and not cranck it over any more. You can do more damage if there is rust in the motor. I am using a second generation 2LT pump on my 84 2L
