I am looking for a nice, heavy duty rear bumper similar to the old Stout bumpers. Anyone know of a company that is making anything like this? Also, if you are running a custom bumper kinda like this please post pics. Thanks guys.

No one on this board has anything like this? I would be happy with pictures of custom stuff, because the more I think about it, it would be cheaper to buy a 14" chop saw and build my own(I have a mig and a torch) because I could also build my own sliders.

Kaymar runs $650 here for just the bumper. ARB and TJM do not offer those bumpers here in the states, although I wish the did.

Hi Josh, there is a member here, and on Outdoor Wire by the name of Mike Hersber?
Last name is spelled different, maybe. He's got a maroon 2nd gen 4Runner with Bushwackers and a custom rear bumper that is super nice.

I may have a pic at home of his Runner, but I'm not sure. Maybe he will see your post, or someone knows how to get in touch with him.

It's a real cool bumper, but if I remember, the guy who built it is not making anymore, but you could probably copy the design.

The only alternative you have is either Kaymar, AllPro or Rockstomper. Other than that, you have to custom build it. Stout discontinued making bumpers for 2nd gen 4Runners. Even if they do make it, they're very expensive, about $1200 for the bumper, tire carrier, jerry can holder, and side bumperettes. Kaymar is the closest you can get to Stout but you have to use the original thin-foil side bumperettes which doesn't give you a whole lot of protection, not unless you custom make it too.

Josh, I found a pic of Mike's rig on my PC. Check your private message box.
It's from the front though after he put on the snorkle, but you can see part of the rear bumper.
