I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD Quad Cab and I now have installed 3" Fabtech suspension lift and a 3" Performance Accessories body lift. Today I am installing 3.5" Fabtech lift spidles. I had trouble removing the lower ball joint from the spindle. I used a pickle fork and finally got it off but in the process I damaged the rubber boot that covers the ball joint. Dodge claims to replace the lower ball joint you have to replace the whole lower control arm. I have been messing around with this universal ball joint boot and it sucks. The original has clips on it and it seals real nice. What do you recomend. Can you get lower ball joints for my truck without having to replace the lower control arm?
