Has any body tried 31\12.5\15s on a nonlifted toyota? I have a '84 4Runner and am wondering if they would fit? Anybody have any pics of these tires on a rig?

Thanks, Monte

i think super swamper makes some, and i think theyd fit if you had the right offset on the wheels

ok, i just looked on the bfg's web page
http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/

and they don't make a 31/12.50. They make a 31/10.50, a 32/11.50, and a 33/12.50. The only 31 in tire that i know of that is over a 10.50, and it is a MT Claws and they are only like a 31/11.50 or something.

as far as Procraps, i dont know and dont really care.

my friend has a 91 indepentent fractured shiznit (IFS) and fits 31x10.5x15 with 15x8 rims. a whee bit of back spacing on the wheel. he rubs and his truck sucks . just put 33x12.5x15's on it!you'll probably need 15x10 wheels for those with some back spacing. my stock springs are reverse arched on the front and i keep rubbing my tires. but they are going in the trash soon i hope.

oh and find a place that will put them on. most places will mount and that's it. cosco wouldn't put them on my truck. liability issue but, i can turn a wrech and they fit good with a stock suspension for alittle while longer!

Bfg makes a 325/60/15 all terrain and mud Terrain that works out to be about 31x12.5 and they have been makin them for a while now. I had 32x11.50s on my 87 runner on 8s with no lift at all and never had them rub. My uncle had a set of 325 bfg all terrains on his tj on a set of 8.5" wheels and they wore and rode well. Hope this helps ya.

I ran the BFG AT's 325/60R15's w/ no lift on my '86 and it was fine on the street w/ minor rubbing when turning. Off-road, I'd rip off a front mudflap every now and then.

ok, Monte Busselman

i guess you are right. i have just never heard of that size before. i would call 4wheelparts whole seller and make sure that wasnt a misprint though.

for any that are interested, he found them for sell here:
http://www.4wheelparts.com:80/product2.asp?imseqn=7&occlass=BFGO&cat=TIR

now, back to the orginal question (will they fit?)---i had a set of 31/10.50 and they fit perfect on my truck back in the day when it was stock. when the suspension flex the tire barely fit inside the wheelwell. i think that the 12.50 would rub unless you trim the fenders. With that size tire, you will most likely rub in the front when you turn also. I think you would be safer with the 10.50's. if you dont want anything to rub.

However, i bet haft the peoples tires on this board rub something even after triming because the goal is to fit the biggest tire on as possible ---- so go for it. the worst that is going to happen is your going want a lift. my .02

the only issue you'll have, is with the rims. I have a set of 31x10.5s I was going to run on my 1.5" B/L 85 4Runner, but they wouldn't fit with those rims, so I was forced to put on my 33x12.5s from my other rig. I'm also runnig AOR's steel wheel spacers and Hanneman fenders. they'll work on pavement, but will give me just over an inch of travel before they hit, in a full turn. it doesn't really matter, because my front springs are inverted and only give me about 2" of up anyway just get enough back spacing on the rims and you'll be all set.

I also fit my 33's under this after cranking the t-bars, but they rubbed just a little

for ya'lls information, baby boggers are 31x12.5x15. the will fit and they will rub your front inner fender by the mud flap. nothing a sledge wont fix. also you will lose some turning radius as they will hit the springs in front and possibly the draglink. get it up man.
