Well I didn't want to start a new thread but I'm going to. I have the famous 33x10.50 vs. 32x11.50 tire question to ask again. I have a 2000 3.4L Tacoma and won't be planning to change the gears for a while. I will be buying the BFG KM2 that's for sure. Tomorrow I'm going to order either one (32 or 33)and I've read all I can find and looked at tons of pictures of course, sooooo....

First, the pizza cutter look is kinda growing on me but I'm not for sure if I want such a skinny tall tire. I also don't want a mexican looking truck with wide tires.

Second, Performance, and mpg mean a lot because this is my DD. Honestly is there anyone out there and maybe Jentzschman could help answer this... Which will affect my on the road performance less a 32x11.50 or the 33x10.50... What if I put a load in the bed (camping gear and recovery stuff)???

Lastly, will both tires fit without spacers on the front with just slight rubbing?

If you want mpg get two sets of tires, also anything will fit with a little sawzall work :flipoff2:

Do you have any lift?
I have a 2001 DoubleCab 3.4l and ran some 32x11.5 BFG Mud Terrains but I had 3 inches of lift. They still rubbed a little at full stuff.
Now I have a 2 inch body lift too and run either the MTs or a set of 285/75 /16( I think a little over 33"). as far a MPG goes I don't see a difference. My POS gets 15MPG no matter what (I even went back to stock for a while while commuting and saw no difference).
Also, check the TTORA.com board too. Good luck

I ran 33x10.50s on my 97 and I loved em. When I mounted them on my stock wheels they would rub the frame a little at full lock. When I put my steelies on they didnt rub anywhere cause the backspace difference. I think the taller skinnier will help keep some MPG a little specially on the highway. I dont think the difference would be that great with the 2 sizes. I have pictures of my 97 with 33x10.50 km1s if you want me to post them.
