In the November 2001 issue of 4Wheel Drive and Sport Utility Mag, there is an article on page 24 w/ a caption speaking of 35 spline 44 shafts. I know Superior is working on a "Super 44" kit w/ OX that has 35 spline shafts. But this install is w/ an ARB, whats up?

Does this exist? I think it must be a typo...

Teh Super 44 from Superior get you 1.42" shafts with 33 splines. 35 spline shafts are 1.5" diam. basically, you're almost there...

You can get it with a detroit or an OX.

I'm not sure, but I think it's only availible for the TJ rear D44...

MAXLE makes 35 spline 44 shafts. The way it works is it currently only works in reverse rotation housings. They have a spool of their own design, or they can put a dana 60 lock rite into a special carrier of their own design. Unlike Superioe, they do not use special bearings on the end of the axle, but rather cut off and replace the axle ends so they are using regular 60 bearings. For front axles they use the same F450 setup currie is using.

They've been running these in ARCA without failure so far, I think. They are mostly used to basically making complete axles.

This is more or less what I was told when I phoned the guy about a week ago.
