Is there an easy way to change a leaky rear main seal on a 4bolt main 350 chevy engine without pulling entire crank? Never done a chevy one but a couple of jeeps and they can be changed without much effort. Just wondering if the chevy would be siniler.

Two piece seal...

At worst you may have to "loosen" the bearing caps to take pressure off the upper half of the seal and let the crank drop just a bit.

Install the new upper half and retorque the bearing caps to spec. Rear most has to come off for the bottom half...but assume you know that.

Fel-Pro should have a dual lip rear seal for this motor, it's what i'd use.
