Well i finally decided it time for a v-8, i picked up a tpi 350 today and am going to start the conversion any words of wisdom?
so far ive heard powersteering is a must, relocation of the battery tray, and a 2" body lift helps out. <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0">

PS isn't a must. The 350 is actually lighter than the F/2F motors so steering should lighten. But, I'm surprised that you are doing an engine conversion and haven't done a PS conversion prior to the engine swap. No body lift is necessary. But, I suppose that could be a plus for some conversions.

Later!

i've done a few. what trans are you gonna run. if you're converting to an auto a bodylift works out well to keep the t-case from hangin' too low. let me know if you need some pics.

hey thanks for the replys, I am going to run the stock 4speed and tranfercase. I have a hand me down advanced adapters kit which contains front and rear motor mounts bellhousing adapter and a set of man a fre headers. I really dont want to do the powersteering conversion right now so if I dont have to thats cool!!!! I have the complete wiring harness for the moror but it is a spagetti mess, thinking about painless wiring???
