should i run a 305 for now which is free and put the motor i want later? that way i am aleast driving it.

depends on how long it would take u to find a 350 but if u dont mind not haveing as much power then i would slap the 305 in their and run with it till u can find a good working 350.

Just run the 305, in stock form there is only about about a 15 horse differance.

offroad, you'll barely notice the difference. I ran a 350, then a 305, then rebuilt the 350. I could tell a big difference going from the 305 back to the 350 since I'd done some torque enhancements, but the 305 worked great.

In theory wouldnt the 305 run a tad cooler - more cylinder wall thickness?
Like it'd matter in frigid Utah!
Run it till it dies
