Anybody know what size the fuel fittings on a 96 4.3 vortec are? I transplanted one, and it doesnt have the fittings. I think they are inverted flare, (cant see cause I already put the motor in), but Im not sure if they are metric or SAE. Thanks.

They should be metric. 16 and 18 I believe, but don't quote me on that.
Thank you VERY much!!!

Whats up FYRMAN? Are you the thread police??

I'm almost positive the ones in my 95 were 3/8 supply and 5/16 SAE inverted flare fittings. Convert them to AN fittings and make your life better.

I couldn't find any fittings that were the right size so i just cut the fittings off the hard lines and flared the ends slightly and pushed on some fuel hose with a couple clamps.

anybody know why 95's were special? they only produce that model for the one year, and don't know why cause it was bad ass.
