K&N and cat-back exhaust to start. Click the link in my sig to go to the S10 site. Look through those posts. There are lots of tricks listed in there. In the links section you will find alot of aftermarket sites to get your parts from.

great thanks!

now one more question that has me and Aaron scratching our heads: Are S10 4.3L engines exactly the same as fullsize 4.3L engines?? any important differences that we need to know?

the fullsize 4.3 motors have more power than the s-series 4.3s. dont know where exactly it comes from.. probly sumthin with the brains. u can get plenty of hp from lil bolt ons like i did. the k&n and cat-back flows worked good. msd coil didnt give any power but better economy and headers gave noticable torque

u can build a 4.3 up as much as u can a 350. same bore/stroke/rods/pistons etc. i think hot rod mag did a 4.3 buildup where it was bored 30 over stroked, ported and polished heads, cam, and had a blower made for a 350 runnin 8 psi and pumped out 450+ hp. the 4.3 is a 350 minus 2 cylinders
