Ok, For those who have done it you know. After pressing the bearing off the output shaft, replacing the gear and pressing the bearing back on the instructions say to use a new bearing clip. I did not get mine and marlins phone has been BUSY. Don't want to use the old clip, But if it's ok then i will. Been waiting for 2 weeks for the right one..

Use it. I did. As long as it wasn't damaged when it was removed, it will be fine. Did your kit come with 3 new bearings or just the 2 for the input & counter gear?

Just the input and counter gear. Pressed on so thats kewl. Lame though as i wanted the motor in 2 weeks ago. Oh well..

reuse the clip as long as it is not damaged.
Did you have to clearance your shift fork?
I did the gears on my W56, Marlin can be a
little slow, he's allways on the phone help-

I had to clearance both the shift rods quite a bit, but barely anything off the housing for the cluster gear. All i know is it will be together tomorrow. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
