Talked to my boss today, and finally got a product code out of him.

40x13.50x17 Goodyear MT/R's - 31411

They are $399 retail!?!?! A full set with certs is 2g's! Is anywhere else selling these for maybe cheaper? (I still haven't gotten my cost, but holy crap, 400 for a radial?)

The company has to make up for the cost of the molds. Those suckers are not cheap. Once the production costs are covered the price will go down. I wonder if the TireRack will ever get em.

Called the factory direct on Friday, they have a warehouse in Orlando, Fl. that has 70 of the 40" Goodyears in stock ready too ship. Waiting on a price from the sales rep guy in Dallas.:flipoff2:

If you're registered with rcaa or uroc you can get these cheaper but you'll have to call goodyear to find out where. They said these would not be available to the modified class because goodyear thinks they will just sell them because they can't run 40's so what else would they do? They also said they were not going to give a tire to every one who competes this year but they
may give a tire to all those running goodyear's who finish in the top 20.

37's are less then $190 and were higher then 399......

though I don't think they will go that low probably $220

I found them at "tirerack" $169 each no tax shipping $52 for the set.
