I read through almost all 76 posts that have 44044 in them somewhere so "zip it".

Bolt up options only!!!

Is the general concensus that the 44044/lift shackle is the cheapest front spring option that flexes better than the flag pole stiff "box" kits?

Bolt up options only!!!

What is the cheapest flexiest option for the back that bolts right up and gives the equal 5.5"-6". I know the chevy springs require moving a hanger and blocks/aal. I do not wish to run blocks.

I realize I have to buy new shock mounts, shocks, longer drive shafts, and hopefully have enough left over in a budget of $1400 for x-over steering.

Any advice for this daily driver 84 4runner?

the IMHO would be a toss up between the 44044's and all-pro's, as far as the rear, i don't think your going to have any luck without moving the front hanger somewhere...

I'm probably going to run the AllPro springs in the rear of my Taco. I'll look for 63s one more time this weekend but I too am reluctant to run a block and an AAL to get the desired lift. But boy do those things drrrooooopp.

Crossover does not cost but half that.....or is $1,400 your whole budget? I think skyjacker has some 6" lift rears, but if you want flex, a bolt on isn't going to give you what you are after.

Cheapest would depend on what you have available. My front spring pack cost me the money for two new center pins. I have rears in the front with some Rancho lift leaves that I got on the truck when I bought it.

For the front bolt on is the rear wrangler springs either 2.5" or 4" Procomp ones they bolt right up and flex equally with every other spring out there. They are cheap only $70 a piece? <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
