dana 44 from a wagoneer. i don't believe that it's the perches, when i look at the shackles one is deffinatly angled farther than the other...

If it's a D44, it won't be the perches. DSI asked because a Toy front axle has the spring perches at different heights (one is partially onto the diff) so unless you added a spacer it would sit crooked.

With the D44, it's not an issue. If you bought them new, return them and get a new set, I guess.

Steve, does this mean your truck drives now? My AP springs still aren't sagging. Something like 2500mi now. No sag. I need to go wheeling!!!

I bet they are still settling, springs take a while to settle, and a lot of times they settle at differnt rates, i would think that they will settle, level, before too long...

If they do not end up settling evenly then i guess you have a bad spring and i would send em back for a new set.
good luck bud, later,

I would return them now, while they're clean and pretty much new. Unless someone else has this problem, I'd be worried about them not taking the springs back because they were too used by the time you drive it around for a month.

As far as I know, this is a unique problem, and no one is sure if wainting will make it better or worse... So why not go the safe route and get new ones right away.

Oh, and if your gas tank isn't in the center of the truck (not sure what you have) full or empty will make a difference by weighting down one side of the truck. 20 gallons of fluid is heavy.
