Advanced the timing 16* and the rattling went away.

4x4 motorhome.
A while back it started making a rattling noise.
It happens at 2100 rpm under load.
Especially noticeable in 1st gear, but still hear it in 2nd or 3rd.
Does not happen in neutral or park when revved to 2100 rpm.
Piston slap seemed to be the number one choice among those that heard it, followed by rod knock, broken flex plate, heat shield.
I pulled and rebuilt the engine.
Had it properly machined, .030 over bore. The same shop did the heads.
I put in new pistons, rings, cam, cam bearings, rod bearings, main bearings, oil pump. New flexplate, starter, alternator, motor mounts, wires, plugs etc. Cleaned and painted every part.
Still have the noise.
Everything under it is tight. No vibration from exhaust or muffler when I bang on it. Same with heat shield.
I have a new torque converter coming. I don't know what else it could be.
Here is a video of the noise.
Any other ideas?

You may have already found your problem. If not? This will sound crazy but, I had something similar to your problem.I had noises and rough running when under a load.. Found that the ignition was firing through the rotor. Replaced rotor reset timing .

Replaced it all when I rebuilt the engine. Same noise but with new parts.
Been searching to no avail for vacuum leaks.
Had the carb rebuilt yesterday.
I will slap it in tomorrow and see what that yields.
