I wanted a 4L80E for my next project and picked up a lot at a government auction. I had to take all 6. I only want 2 for myself. These are '98 or newer cases judging by the repositioned oil cooler return line back by the reverse band and were removed from military HMMWV's.
The trannies are complete with torque converter. One that I took apart has the reverse band burned up. The rest of the parts look good. It did have water in the pan from sitting outside but there was no water in the rest of the trans.
I don't know what condition these are in so I'm selling them AS IS. They should be rebuildable. None has any external case damage. I'm just trying to recoup some of the money I had to pay to get the two cores I wanted.
