I am in desperate need of a complete rear bumper with mounts and end caps for a 1988 4Runner Dlx. The yards want an arm and a leg, and I have been unable to find a decent tube bumper in good shape. Any help is appreciated. Located in Oregon.

I have a chrome one, complete with end caps and all mounting hardware. Very good shape. One of the mounts is slightly bent from a parking lot, but the bumper is straight. It also has a factory towing hitch underneath. Located in Eastern NC. 50.00 plus shipping. I also have a nice chrome front bumper, new valiance panel, and chrome grille to go with it....

I have a smitty built tube bumper in great shape. Took it off my 88 4Runner and it is set up with the receiver. I will try to find a pic. I was asking $100 for it a few months ago and nobody was interested. Wanna make an offer? JW

Oh ya, I still have all the side plastic I will throw in with the deal.

I could not find a recent pic of the bumper sitting sitting on my sideyard. The bumper was perfect when I got it but I did bump one of the lower corners messing around when I first got the truck (the same day I took the pic). If I remember right I did not even damage the plastic end cap. If you are interested I will take some current pics and email them. Let me know.

Thanks for the reply. That is the bumper I really had my heart set on but couldn't find. Would it come with the proper mounts as well? I'm just a poor kid, but it seems to be what I had in mind. Is it too large to ship on a greyhound bus? TIA

DaddyO,

Ya, the mounts are welded to the tube as the bumper is all one piece. All you do is hold the bumper up to the frame and tighten up four bolts/nuts and your done. Not sure about the greyhound bus thing as I don't know what thier limitations are. If you are interested I am sure we can get something figured out.

You can call me if you are interested.

I'll check with greyhound and a few others as that will determine what I can offer. I'll call you either tonight or Friday night. Thanks again.
